COL: Una campaña para cuidar la fiesta más grande de México
La Feria Nacional de San Marcos es un evento anual que se celebra entre los meses de abril y mayo en la ciudad de Aguascalientes, y que es considerada como la feria más importante y una de las más antiguas del país. Durante tres semanas, miles de visitantes disfrutan de una variedad de actividades culturales, artísticas, deportivas y gastronómicas, así como de los espectáculos del palenque, el teatro del pueblo, el foro de las estrellas y el serial taurino.
Sin embargo, una fiesta tan grande también implica una gran responsabilidad. Por eso, este año se ha lanzado una campaña para intercambiar botellas de vidrio y latas por cilindros de plástico, con el objetivo de evitar riesgos en el área ferial y lograr condiciones seguras para las y los visitantes.
Esta iniciativa es impulsada por el Patronato de la Feria Nacional de San Marcos y el Municipio de Aguascalientes, y busca concientizar a la población sobre la importancia de cuidar el medio ambiente y prevenir accidentes. El vidrio y el metal pueden causar cortes o heridas a las personas que transitan por la feria, así como dañar el mobiliario urbano o generar incendios. Por eso, se invita a los asistentes a cambiar sus envases por unos de plástico, que son más ligeros y resistentes.
Además, esta campaña también contribuye a fomentar el reciclaje y la economía circular, ya que los materiales recolectados serán entregados a empresas especializadas para su aprovechamiento. De esta manera, se evita que terminen en los rellenos sanitarios o en los cuerpos de agua, donde pueden contaminar el ecosistema.

A campaign to take care of the biggest party in Mexico
The National Fair of San Marcos is an annual event that takes place between the months of April and May in the city of Aguascalientes, and that is considered as the most important and one of the oldest fairs in the country. For three weeks, thousands of visitors enjoy a variety of cultural, artistic, sports and gastronomic activities, as well as the shows of the palenque, the theater of the people, the forum of the stars and the bullfighting serial.
