Se acerca la Semana Santa y seguro que ya estás pensando en salir de viaje con tu familia o tus amigos. Pero antes de que arranques el coche y te lances a la aventura, hay algo que debes hacer: descargar la app Emergencia Carretera en tu celular. ¿Por qué? Porque con esta app puedes pedir ayuda si te pasa algo en la carretera.
La Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado te recomienda esta app porque te permite solicitar la intervención de los cuerpos de emergencia incluso en lugares remotos con poca cobertura en dispositivos móviles. Así que si tienes algún problema mecánico, un accidente, ves algo sospechoso o te quieren asaltar, solo tienes que abrir la app y usar el chat o el botón de alerta. La app te ubica con el GPS y te manda a los policías más cercanos.
¿Qué tienes que hacer para descargarla? Muy fácil: solo tienes que escanear el código QR y registrarte. La app está disponible para iOS y Android. No importa si no hay buena señal, la app funciona con la red 2G.

So if you have any mechanical problem, an accident, you see something suspicious or they want to rob you, you just have to open the app and use the chat or the alert button. The app locates you with GPS and sends you the nearest police officers.
