La palabra tiene poder. Puede inspirar, persuadir, emocionar, denunciar, proponer. Puede ser un instrumento para transformar la realidad y generar conciencia. Por eso, es importante que las y los jóvenes desarrollen su capacidad de expresarse con claridad, elocuencia y argumentos.
Eso es lo que busca fomentar la Comisión de Juventud del Congreso de Aguascalientes, que preside el diputado Juan Carlos Regalado Ugarte, al organizar cada año el Concurso de Oratoria, que en su edición 2023 se llevó a cabo el pasado 03 de marzo en las instalaciones del Poder Legislativo.
En este certamen participaron 15 jóvenes de entre 18 y 29 años de edad, quienes demostraron su talento y dominio de la palabra al abordar temas de interés social, político y cultural. Los ganadores fueron: Issac Sifuentes (primer lugar); Karla Aguilar (segundo lugar); y Gabriel Omar Díaz (tercer lugar).
Los tres recibieron un merecido reconocimiento en la sesión ordinaria de la Comisión de Juventud, donde también se les felicitó por su esfuerzo y dedicación. Los diputados Juan Carlos Regalado, Adán Valdivia y Sanjuana Martínez expresaron su orgullo porque el sector juvenil muestra cada vez mayor interés en participar en estos espacios de expresión y manifestaron su apoyo para seguir impulsando este tipo de actividades.
La oratoria es una habilidad que se puede aprender y perfeccionar con la práctica. Es una herramienta que puede abrir muchas puertas y oportunidades a las y los jóvenes que quieren hacer escuchar su voz y contribuir al cambio. Por eso, desde esta columna, aplaudo la iniciativa de la Comisión de Juventud del Congreso de Aguascalientes y los invito a seguir promoviendo la oratoria entre las nuevas generaciones.
Oratory: a tool for change
The word has power. It can inspire, persuade, excite, denounce, propose. It can be an instrument to transform reality and raise awareness. That is why it is important that young people develop their ability to express themselves clearly, eloquently and with arguments.
That is what the Youth Commission of the Aguascalientes Congress, chaired by Congressman Juan Carlos Regalado Ugarte, seeks to promote by organizing the Oratory Contest every year, which in its 2023 edition was held on March 3rd at the facilities of the Legislative Power.
In this contest, 15 young people between 18 and 29 years old participated, who demonstrated their talent and mastery of the word by addressing topics of social, political and cultural interest. The winners were: Issac Sifuentes (first place); Karla Aguilar (second place); and Gabriel Omar Díaz (third place).
The three received a well-deserved recognition in the ordinary session of the Youth Commission, where they were also congratulated for their effort and dedication. Oratory is a skill that can be learned and perfected with practice. That is why, from this column, I applaud the initiative of the Youth Commission of the Aguascalientes Congress and invite them to continue promoting oratory among the new generations.
